Hi
I am relly new to FS 2004. I prefere to fly Boeing 737 800 NG. What is confusing is the flaps setting during take off some say one should use Flaps 5 some other say flap 15...does it matter and what is the prefered setting and why.

It depends of How much weight do you have

(PASSENGERS)

, If you have and empty airplane you can use 5% as it appears in the tutorial , this isn't and exact and unique position for taking off , you'd have to see the wind ,weight , length of the Runway, to move the lever flap in the right position before take off
