Columbus, OH—We are pleased to announce today that Ohio Express a new virtual airline which will be based out of Port Columbus International airport is in final stages of completing their start up program. Ohio Express was founded by Chief Executive officer, Justin Caughenbaugh in early July 2010. Ohio express plans to open its doors by the first of April and will be accepting new pilots into the airline by the end of March. Ohio Express chose Port Columbus as their Primary hub and location of headquarters because CEO Justin Caughenbaugh saw Ohio as a gateway to major destinations without the headaches of high airline volume. “Now when I say High airline volumes, what I mean by that is the amount of airline traffic coming and going from the airport. So as port Columbus is fairly busy I feel as if we can operate our airline with on-time performances about 99.9 percent of the time without having the worries of a ten to thirty minute delay because we are sitting on the taxi way waiting to take-off. Now I do understand weather in Columbus can be quite challenging but we will get through it.”

Ohio Express has already chosen the type of aircraft they will fly, all repaints are currently in process and once completed they will be ready for purchase.
