The head winds made fuel consumption greater than anticipated. We tried to land on top of a lighthouse to let the weather front roll over us... But couldn't make the landing either  Grin Had to keep going.

...

Good thing the weather improved...

A job well done! Now time to change shorts  Grin Grin

Even better than the first set. Smiley

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

Ahahah thank you very much!! Which one is your favorite? I think I'm leaning on #4, the way the wet concrete lookswith the "H" and the lights...

Arrrgh! You ask the hard questions.  Grin

I do like the wet concrete and the lights on the pad. But for the overall shot, it's a tie between #1, #2, & #3. I love the the lighthouse with the landing pad.

I agree with patchz, this second set IS better...but I have to say number 3 for me!  Cool

FSX, we've come a long way baby! Skunk Works is an official alias for Lockheed Martin’s Advanced Development Programs (ADP), formerly called Lockheed Advanced Development Projects. Skunk Works is responsible for a number of famous aircraft designs, including the U-2, the SR-71 Blackbird, the F-117 Nighthawk, and the F-22 Raptor. Its largest current project is the F-35 Lightning II

That lighthouse is awesome Shocked Cool
All great shots Pierre, both sets. I tend to agree with Larry though, #1 second set for me Smiley
BTW, U4EA pointed me at some really cool emergency/rescue scenerey from
here

"Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth and danced the skies on laughter silvered wings. Sunward I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth of sun split clouds.....and done a hundred things you have never dreamed of.....wheeled and soared and swung high in the sunlit silence. Hovering there, I've chased the shouting wind along and flung my eager craft through footless halls of air.

Up, up the long, delerious, burning blue I've topped the wind swept heights with easy grace where never Lark, nor even Eagle flew. While with silent lifting of mind I've trod the high untrespassed sanctity of space, put out my hand and touched the face of god"

Amazing shots (both sets). Smiley  As for my favorite, I have to agree with Larry & Chuck on #1.

Thanks!
If you guys like shots with lighthouses I'll try to do a new series later this week. I had bought a lighthouses add-on for FranceVFR Brittany X, they are pretty awesome!
