K i downloaded the C-46 commando. got her set to fly and attempted to takeoff. well lets just say a brick gets more lift. with full power at 110kts and full flaps, she only left the ground after the ground left me.

so if i wanted to adjust the air file. what would give me the most benefit with the least amout of change.

they chould have named this the albatros. it takes off like one.

What does 'K i' mean? Huh

Unless you really know your way around an AIR file, just leave it alone. Roll Eyes

Replace the current AIR file with a good one from a C-47/DC-3, as there are a group of those around. Wink

it should have said "Ok I"

does it matter that that is the C-47 skytrain?
I need the C-46 Commando.

i've do some work with air file before but that was about 5 years ago. Hummmm, I'll figure something out becuz i can't fly that plane the way it is.

I know, I know....I'm just trying to preserve the English language...what with all these people typing on their phones with their thumbs and walking into mall fountains. Sad

No, it really doesn't matter. Try the AIR file. You'll have to rename it properly. If it works nicely, then you can cleanup the Description and other text boxes in the file. Tongue

If you aren't up for that there are some simple cheats you can use....like Thrust and Lift Scalar entries in the current CFG file with the regular AIR file in place. Roll Eyes

Changing aerodynamics in the AIR file to correct your problem involves balancing too many entries to go into here. Huh
