Aircraft:Quest Kodiak
Scenery: Orbx FTX Northern Rocky Mountains

Took off from Flathead Lake Montana....you can see it in the background.
...
The Rockies are a pretty big hurdle, climbing.......
...
Flip on the AP and check out the view.....
...
Decided to land here, it's a highland lake (I don't know the name of it but, if you'd like, I could get back to you with a location) I saw along the way. Amphibs are so handy!
...
Thanks Greg, for reminding me to pack my Ugly Stick, I'll bet the fishing is good here.
...
Thanks 4 looking Smiley

"Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth and danced the skies on laughter silvered wings. Sunward I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth of sun split clouds.....and done a hundred things you have never dreamed of.....wheeled and soared and swung high in the sunlit silence. Hovering there, I've chased the shouting wind along and flung my eager craft through footless halls of air.

Up, up the long, delerious, burning blue I've topped the wind swept heights with easy grace where never Lark, nor even Eagle flew. While with silent lifting of mind I've trod the high untrespassed sanctity of space, put out my hand and touched the face of god"

All the shots are superb, but I think number 4 is  Shocked  Shocked  Shocked for lack of words. I'm not a big trout fisherman, largemouth bass is more my speed, but I've been known to catch a few trout. Question, is this aircraft the one that was on sale recently here at SimV? I sure would love to get this craft next time it's on sale if it's the same one. Happy flying, Greg  Cool

FSX, we've come a long way baby! Skunk Works is an official alias for Lockheed Martin’s Advanced Development Programs (ADP), formerly called Lockheed Advanced Development Projects. Skunk Works is responsible for a number of famous aircraft designs, including the U-2, the SR-71 Blackbird, the F-117 Nighthawk, and the F-22 Raptor. Its largest current project is the F-35 Lightning II

Nice shots Chuck, cool livery. Smiley

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

Great shots and paint. I think that is one of Banana Bob's paints. I had a few of his photoreal paints for the Kodiak that were excellent. I lost them when I had to do a reformat and could never find them again.
