Quick flight around Gibraltar! #3 and 4 are very close, the angle is just a little different. Thanks for putting up with my day of series  Grin

Nothing wrong with a series and these shots are very good!  Cool

FSX, we've come a long way baby! Skunk Works is an official alias for Lockheed Martin’s Advanced Development Programs (ADP), formerly called Lockheed Advanced Development Projects. Skunk Works is responsible for a number of famous aircraft designs, including the U-2, the SR-71 Blackbird, the F-117 Nighthawk, and the F-22 Raptor. Its largest current project is the F-35 Lightning II

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

Thank you guys! Now the only problem I have with this scenery, is that I really wish that vertical textures would be better translated in FSX... Hopefully in Flight it'll work better. I'm probably just picky at this point, but I think that shot #1 would look way better if the textures on the Rock weren't stretched... I know it's not the add-on developers' fault, just FSX, but it would look tons better without the stretch...  Roll Eyes Just me being picky  Grin

Very cool Pierre, awesome shots and very cool scenery.  I meant to comment when I first saw your shots but, I got sidetracked when I read the part you posted about the vertical textures being stretched. I remembered, Aerosoft does a pretty good job addressing this problem in their Lord Howe Island add-on:

Then I forgot about it........until now Smiley
I think they actually model the mountains instead of using terrain mesh and landclass......probably only works efficiently on a small scale Smiley

"Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth and danced the skies on laughter silvered wings. Sunward I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth of sun split clouds.....and done a hundred things you have never dreamed of.....wheeled and soared and swung high in the sunlit silence. Hovering there, I've chased the shouting wind along and flung my eager craft through footless halls of air.

Up, up the long, delerious, burning blue I've topped the wind swept heights with easy grace where never Lark, nor even Eagle flew. While with silent lifting of mind I've trod the high untrespassed sanctity of space, put out my hand and touched the face of god"

That's interesting because both Lord Howe Island and Gibraltar are Aerosoft's sceneries. I do own both . Lord Howe was released a long time ago compared to Gibraltar... I wonder why the technics learned for Lord Howe wouldn't be applied to the same problem again... Strange  Huh
