Hello All,

Hope you can help me with this one:

Is there any way of creating a flight or a scenery in FS2004, where you get audio/aural warnings as you near a certain point (airfield, ship or a set of coordinates) at 20, 15, 10 & 5 miles from the point?

any help appreciated

Hi,

You could do this with a panel gauge.  Get the lat and long of your aircraft, calculate the distance from a specific lat and long point (using a formula), and then play a sound when the proper distances away.

Hope this helps,

Thank you for your reply Tom, I have to admit I am new to this - Is there a simple solution to creating a gauge that can do this?
