Does it make sense to have both of these programs, or is this a one-or-the-other situation? I know, for example, that GEX and UTX work together, but not sure about these two.

Any thoughts would be appreciated!

Use only one of the two.

REX is by far the best out there.

No other program can beat REX textures and weather engine.

REX also provides super support and just recently released their free expansion set called overdrive.

You can look at any screenshot site (FSX) and you will see almost all shots reflect REX.

Yeah, I just cranked up my clouds settings and it's pretty amazing (I have REX). The Overdrive thing is 9GB, do you think it's that much of an improvement over the existing REX? Have you tried it?

Thanks!

Yes I do use overdrive, it comes with quite a few extra textures.

I love the new water textures alot.

The download is much smaller, 9GB is the installation size.

I got myself the CD for a small few quid, since I also got the REX CD.
