Corrupt Scenery File. I downloaded this file three times and when I unzipped it I get a corrupt file warning. Can someone check this file out and repair it?

!   K:\Alaskan Airports\JT_AlaskaAP_Pk3-1.zip: CRC failed in JT_AlaskaAP_Pk3\CLF\Texture\window.bmp. The file is corrupt

FSX Scenery page 16 "Alaskan Airports Package Part 3 of 8"     http://simviation.com/1/browse-Scenery-63-15

The other seven files of the eight part scenery package seem to be OK but, I'm still a little hesitant to install it to my flight-sim because of the install procedure in the read-me. There are 80 airports and it says to add each one to the library one at a time. Thats one long list.  I would think they should be combined so there would be one entry and called "Alaskan Airports" or such.

Bob, I just downloaded all 8 yesterday. The .bmp is not necessary as far as I can tell. I just copied everything else and pasted them in a folder I created in Addon Scenery and named Alaska Airports, and put all of them in it. It took a little while to activate them, but no big deal. I went to about ten or so and everything looked fine.

BTW, be sure to set the priority for all of them below any FTX NA scenery you have, including libraries, etc.

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

Which unzipper are you using Bob? Just downloaded the file to check it out. I opened it with IZArc & the Windows Compressed Folders utility with no problem or error message.

I agree. The install does look a tad complicated. I'll need to read the instructions through several times before understanding it. I'm sure the author knows what he's doing but I can see no reason why combining all the airfields into one folder would cause problems.

PS. The "fix" folders should be installed separately.
