Hi Simmers,   Some time ago I came across a method of displaying, along with the usual inflight readout shown above in flight aircraft, the way you can also display the point of departure and destination added to the other information flashing, ie. the height,distance,identification etc. If I can remember the FS9 cfg is involved, but all details went when my last computer crashed, your help on this will be gratefully received, many thanks,    Dobermann

The fs9.cfg section is....

[AContain]
ShowLabels=0
ShowUserLabel=0
ShowLabelManufacturer=1
ShowLabelModel=0
ShowLabelTailNumber=0
ShowLabelDistance=0
ShowLabelAltitude=0
ShowLabelAirline=0
ShowLabelAirlineAndFlightNumber=0
ShowLabelFlightPlan=0
ShowLabelContainerId=0
ShowLabelAirspeed=0
ShowLabelHeading=0
LabelDelay=1000
LabelColor=FFFF0000

The other method, besides manual edit, is to install the Traffic Toolbox SDK. http://www.fsdeveloper.com/forum/downloads.php?do=cat&id=10. You will have inflight  access, under a new Tools menu, to all the Label options as well as the Traffic Toolbox Explorer. Explorer gives you more information and even control over individual ai aircraft. You can force an ai aircraft to fly any of your saved flight plans (.pln files), including waypoints. It's also a great tool for verifying/trouble shooting your ai flight plans (traffic*.bgl files).

Dave.
Where does this new "Tools" menu appear?. I've installed the SDK but can't find a new menu anywhere.

Zaphod,

You have to copy the 'TrafficToolbox.dll' from the install to your ...\<FS9>\Modules\ folder. The Tools menu will then appear in the in-flight screen's Alt menu.
