I like to see these things get affordable. I know it's not really a CNC machine, and that it probably stinks the house up with the smell of hot plastic, heck, it could cause a divorce. But I like that things like this are beginning to become closer to our reach.

I disagree with that statement. But then they did not really define 'need'.
If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

I think they misquoted the part size, 996mm x 108mm x 115 mm. 996mm is over 36 inches. Judging from the machine and background objects in the pic, I doubt this thing could put out parts that long. This thing could be cool for building simpit parts like panels and such though. Larry, the only 3 dimensional images (pics) I know of would be a holigram that that you can walk around and view from all sides.
Flying with twins is a lot of fun..

It's really a moot point though, as it is well beyond my budget to needs ratio.
If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.
