Well, I was taking a few photos of some aircraft at MEL (Melbourne Airport/ Australia); and sure I can look up flight times, but all it tells me is when they land/take off.. Non of the other information, like, what type of aircraft (The the main one im after).

Mainly as I would like to know, and I hope to get a few 747s and I hope for an A380(highly doubtful)
-----------
So yes, is there a way of knowing what type of aircraft lands when?

AMD Phenom II X6 Six Core 1090T 3.20GHz 9MB Cache (OC 3.86); Gigabyte GA-890FXA-UD7; CORSAIR DDR3 8GB PC3-16000 (2x4gig);  EVGA NVIDIA GTX470 SuperClocked (X3)

this is also good

http://www.planefinder.net/

you can see what they are and you can also get it for ipod/iphone/ipad and other smart phones.

so i guess you can see when it takes off and get there as it lands.

If your after heavy's go in the morning (what some long term spotter told me) because all the light stuff comes in in the arvo or well most of it.

Im just getting into spotting as well so i might see you there one day Smiley also the road up from the spotting carpark at 16 is very nice spot in the arvo Smiley
