Shut down the computer, open it up, and look at the video card cooling fan openings for being clogged up with junk.� If so, remove it and clean it all out.� If it is clean,........ make sure the fan is actually spinning.� If no dirt and the fan is spinning....... looks like a video card issue.�

My guess...... likely overheating.

John has most likely hit the nail on the head. I did have a situation once where my graphics drivers got updated and screwed up every thing untill I rolled back the driver.

I'd uninstall any and all graphics drivers and then re-install. Looks like driver corruption to me.
