I notice what seems to be a partially obscured telephone number. It would be funny if it said, "How's my driving? Call *** *** 6789 "
Flying with twins is a lot of fun..

So what's the agenda with this "plane spotting" thing? Is it to get a crisp shot? Is it to get a shot with the ID number, then be around when it shows up again and keep records as to how many times you see it and how frequently? If that's your game, I say "Carry on!" Me, I just hit golf balls and run after 'em...
I am homebrewer. I had 633 posts when for some unknown reason, my account disappeared...

Got approved on Airliners. We all have. WHOOPIDEEDOO.
They aren't the standard anymore. Here at SimV, your shot is guarenteed to get approved, as long as it is in standards.
Do you want us to critique on the sharpness? The lighting? The exposure? Say so , we will reject your shot in a heart beat, EVEN FASTER IF BIGTRUCK GETS HIS HANDS ON IT.
Or you could just upload it, and sit in the comfort of knowing that your shot will get posted even if it sucks by current photographer standards.

I think what Big Truck is means to say is that a.net can be hard to tackle at first, but once you spend more time working the camera, setting up compositions, and getting photos approved, etc. you will soon realize that all a.net will accept are the same photos of the same aircraft over and over and over and over ... 5 minutes later...and over again. What once seemed as a great way to gain recognition and get "published" quickly blends into the same stuff everyone else is doing.
Now that that has been said, keep trying to get stuff accepted to a.net, especially if it keeps you motivated to improve your photos. That way we can benefit from seeing them here and get good ideas from you as well as help you improve on them.
Congrats on your first photo! It's a step in the right direction.

Lol no worries. Why should you have to apologize for the fact that a.net sucks?
