Nemeth Designs Sikorsky CH-53E Super Stallion
(Info from Nemeth website)
The development of the CH-53E is based on the CH-53D.
Improvements include the addition of a third engine to give the aircraft the ability to lift the majority of the Fleet Marine Force's equipment, improved main rotor blades and composite tail rotor blades.
A dual digital automatic flight control system and engine anti-ice system give the aircraft an all-weather capability.
The helicopter seats 37 passengers in its normal configuration and has provisions to carry 55 passengers with centerline seats installed.
I got several aircraft for X-mas and I'm finally getting around to trying this one out. Well, I tried to fly it when I first got it but, I couldn't start it. So it got set aside until I had time to read the manual. Very cool helicopter, nice dynamics, quite a bit more challenging to fly than default helis in my opinion.
Taking off from Spencer NOLF near Pensacola NAS
It's a pretty big helicopter but, it's very fast
Landing on a carrier a few miles offshore
Welcome aboard
It stows very neatly
Thanks 4 looking
"Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth and danced the skies on laughter silvered wings. Sunward I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth of sun split clouds.....and done a hundred things you have never dreamed of.....wheeled and soared and swung high in the sunlit silence. Hovering there, I've chased the shouting wind along and flung my eager craft through footless halls of air.
Up, up the long, delerious, burning blue I've topped the wind swept heights with easy grace where never Lark, nor even Eagle flew. While with silent lifting of mind I've trod the high untrespassed sanctity of space, put out my hand and touched the face of god"

Nice pics! I was thinking about buying it myself. Unfortunately, I ran out of money to spend on new Aircraft.

Love that 1st shot Chuck. Great looking bird.
If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

They are not that hard to fly Mike. Now landing, is a horse of another color entirely.

Thanks guys
The only thing that would make the CH-53 cooler, is if it was water landable like the UH-47. It looks like you could almost do it with those big external tanks
