Hi, No matter what button I assign on either the keyboard or joystick for "aircraft reload", when pressed the button does nothing. I have used this function on a previous install - though it was quite a while ago - and it worked.
I recently installed SP2 (a firm candidate for most troubles) but I'm hoping it's more a case of I'm doing something stupid, I hope so because I don't want to have to re-install FSX.

Hi !

First your not stupid.  We all make mistakes that makes us pull our hair off (  if you'd see how much i have left...you'd understand. ! )

First, I my self start using that magnificient function a few months ago and since saved zillions of time.

I have SP1 AND SP2 installed ( no accelaration pack ).  Have not had any problem.

By experiece, the answer is just right there under your nose, but your standing too close.  Take a brake, go to somethings else.  Else when you'll be back your gonna smack your front head saying OH MY GOD ! NOT THAT !

In such case like others similar, we are convinced that we've done everything correctly.  But, unless your keyboard is defective it can only be a human error.   Make sure the combination is NEVER used.   I would go by elimination.

Well, not much more I can do.  Have an happy new year and a functionning "load it up quicklie function".

Works fine for me. I have FSX Gold/Acceleration which includes SP2 so that is not your problem.

PS. Thanks for posting this. I didn't know about this useful feature. Wink

Well Ive tried walking the dog and shovelled some snow but guess what?...... the joy stick and the keyboard must have had another meeting while I was out and decided to keep this farce going, in fact after resuming the button on the joy stick that was "Available" yesterday is now assigned to something else. I just love it!!  Angry I'm playing with A2A lighting so I want to see the new position ASAP .The only thing that tempers all this is that after installing SP2 my loading times are much faster 20sec from selection. That's not bad - i'm using a British airfield "Barra" - that is by far the fasest loader for me. And at least I've manage to put some light on the Tail logo of the default 737  so maybe it's not that bad
Anyway thanks to you Marcareno and Hagar for your interest>

No. This one. No key command is assigned by default.

Very useful if you're modifying an aircraft.
