Nothing special as far as pictures, just some from along the way. Had a great time with my parents, family and friends. Flew from KVPS to KSAN via Houston. Sorry for the quality, this was with my mobile phone.

This picture is from VPS going to Houston, somewhere in between the 2 at about 34,000ft. Anyone know the aircraft type?  Wink
...

This is in San Diego, waiting for my plane to get in. This would be the beginning of a looooong day back.  Sad
...

So, we left San Diego a reasonable 10-15 minutes late. Upon arrival in Houston, I saw lightning just outside the plane on approach. Even HEARD the thunder. We landed and pulled to the gate when I saw this 757 with its new paintjob
...

Had to rush to my next flight... 2 terminals over. Made that no problem as Im quite familiar with the Houston airport. Get to my gate, and the flight is delayed a bit. Ok no problem. Wait a while... its delayed again, at the same time, the thunderstorm is getting much worse around the airport. Waited more.... delayed again, and again and again. It was somewhere near 7pm when out plane finally arrives. Everyone gets off, and we assume they are just prepping the plane. An hour goes by, still have not boarded. THey then say the plane had a maintenance problem, and they were trying to find a part. Waited more, and more. Finally it was 9:30 when we got out of there. All this, when my flight should have left at 4. Needless to say, I am worn out!

My specs... A hard drive, motherboard, graphics card, some memory, a keyboard, mouse, and monitor - in other words, nothing special.

ERJ-145XR.  I've never seen one with the blue winglets.  All the ones that come by me are the gray.

I'm guessing it was a UALX plane with those winglets? Smiley

Continental Express, but I do believe it did say United.
