If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

Well I hope you are fortunate enough to have them limited to outdoor turkey frying mishaps, and minor aviation smoke emitters.

I've had a lot of firefighter friends over the years, including the current Chief. They are fortunate his Police career never got off the ground.

Love your new signature Larry. Are those old tires your wheels are sitting on? With half a ton of concrete hanging under the tie-down rings and tailwheel, I'm wondering if perhaps they're a bit redundant

Thanks, but as you can see, it did not last long. Guess it got blown away in the tornado. Roll Eyes

Actually, I tried to add the the 8^th AF logo, Southern and Republic logos to that shot, but could not get the file size down without too much image quality loss. So I used the shot I posted shortly after my Dad died.

He liked Cubs but the Gooney Birds are more applicable.
