I know this thread is intended for Freeware designers, and I do appreciate all of them. But, it is the time of year when we need to broaden our horizons and be thankful for things we often take for granted. Yes,
Payware designers get paid for their work, and often paid well. But, there are those select few that do better than average and sometimes give us a little something extra. So I would like to thank Iris Simulations and
Captain Sim for their Christmas sales on some wonderful, well designed models. Whether they did it with Christmas charity in mind or just to attempt to increase revenue does not matter. They made several models
available to us that many of us would not have were it not for the sale. I doubt that I would ever have felt I could afford to pay sixty dollars for one model. Hope some of you agree with me.
Feel free to add anyone you think deserves thanks.
If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

I second that motion....
"Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth and danced the skies on laughter silvered wings. Sunward I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth of sun split clouds.....and done a hundred things you have never dreamed of.....wheeled and soared and swung high in the sunlit silence. Hovering there, I've chased the shouting wind along and flung my eager craft through footless halls of air.
Up, up the long, delerious, burning blue I've topped the wind swept heights with easy grace where never Lark, nor even Eagle flew. While with silent lifting of mind I've trod the high untrespassed sanctity of space, put out my hand and touched the face of god"

Yep, Piglet does very nice work.

Now there's a man thinking on his feet.
I hope you get your wish David.

Maybe even just in general instead of just the holidays!
And thanks Iris Simulations and Captain Sim!!!

I probably shouldn't be replying to such an old topic but I really thank all developers. Payware and freeware for the work they do. And You really can't appreciate them until you try making them which is what I'm learning now
.

Most people think that flying a plane is dangerous, except pilots because they know how easy it is.
Arguing with a pilot is like wrestling with a pig in the mud, after a while you begin to think the pig likes it.
