An unidentified individual sent me some pics he took at Area 51. It's amazing how much progress has been made with telephoto lens.

Nemeth Designs Aerospatiale SA-2 Samson for FSX.
FS Pilot Shop has them on sale for $13.00 USD. And it is fast, cruise at 155 knots, never exceed speed is 200 knots.

That is not the color of the panel. I think I took the shot just as the light flashed.

Thanks for looking.

Great shots Larry........what an interesting aircraft Cool

"Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth and danced the skies on laughter silvered wings. Sunward I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth of sun split clouds.....and done a hundred things you have never dreamed of.....wheeled and soared and swung high in the sunlit silence. Hovering there, I've chased the shouting wind along and flung my eager craft through footless halls of air.

Up, up the long, delerious, burning blue I've topped the wind swept heights with easy grace where never Lark, nor even Eagle flew. While with silent lifting of mind I've trod the high untrespassed sanctity of space, put out my hand and touched the face of god"

Thanks Chuck. Smiley
I heard a while back they were building it, but I did not know it was out until today. I did not think I would be able to get it because I expected the cost to be $40+. So when I saw it for $13 I had to get it.  Grin
I've wanted one ever since I saw the movie, and it is a pretty neat aircraft.

Where's the "Smiley" with the tongue hanging out and a huge puddle of drool below it?  Being pre-Christmas, I'm "ham-strung" until Friday, so after playing "Santa", for some friends, I'm going to be treating myself to my first "Payware".   Saturday, I will be breaking it in.

Now, all we need is "Hells Gate",  the "Hallelujah Mountains", a couple of "Big Frackin' Trees", and "glow in the dark" night forest textures.

I don't expect much, do I? Wink

(Drooling smiley here) Smiley Smiley Smiley

PS Does it come with Michel Rodriguez "Trudy Chacon" pilot (Insert another "drooling smiley" here), and does it come with the "Rogue One" texture?

I was hoping you would find this thread Roy. I knew you would like it. Don't know how long the sale will last, try not to miss the $13 deal. Granted it's an awesome model and worth the usual $25.99, but getting it for $13 just makes it that much better.
No, I have not seen Michel, or the Rogue One texture.  Sad
But, I have the movie so.... Grin
If some really smart scenery designer made the Hallelujah Mountains that would be awesome.  Smiley

I saw it mentioned in the "Payware" topic a few weeks ago.  Drooling ever since.  Hopefully, the sale will still be going on at least until Friday.

Especially if they threw in a few landable spots and some Mountain Banshees that get honked off if you fly too close to their rookery.  Cheesy

Getting ready to fire it up now.  If it doesn't have a "Rogue One", it will after a few days. Wink
