If you are in or near San Diego in February, this sounds like it is a must see! They will be having the largest military flyover since WW2, with somewhere around 150 aircraft!

http://www.signonsandiego.com/news/2010/nov/10/special-navy-airshow-announced-ce...

And for the celebration, the Navy is repainting many of its current aircraft as they were in the past, for example, an F-18 with a paint from a Korean War era Corsair...

My specs... A hard drive, motherboard, graphics card, some memory, a keyboard, mouse, and monitor - in other words, nothing special.

I take it they mean the largest military flyover in the USA since WWII..

...The RAF's flypast over Buckingham Palace on 15th September 1990, to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Battle of Britain contained 168 aircraft, from the Lancaster, Spitfire and Hurricane, to the cutting edge(!) Tornado F3! Grin

Nowadays, 20 is a struggle for the RAF. Embarrassed

I'm sure the Soviets probably have the actual record. Smiley

The RAF Coronation Review in 1953 would take some beating.  http://daveg4otu.tripod.com/nos10.html
