When Voyager 1 was launched... now 33 years later she is nearing the edge of the Solar System.
And unlike many more youthful space exploration devices she is still working
Hooray for an AMAZING feat of engineering....

I thought one went beyond Pluto several years ago--like in the late 90s. Maybe I have not been paying attention...

The Hubble was only intended to work for about five years. It's been fixed time and time again. And thankfully so. Those pictures from the Deep Field are amazing...

I was told a long time ago that I was further out in space than Pluto -- I haven't seen either of them pass by me yet...

relativism ,Its being static from the voyager's point of view its the solar system who's moving, and vice versa from our point of view (It need it couple push to brake sun's gravity ,"propulsion")
the only thing that moves towards everything is the speed of the light ,its a constant

As far as I know I though that too
, we still pick the beacon radio signal so it hasn't collide to any of the Trillions pieces of ices that remain static beyond border of the solar system.... Yet..
maybe we will have to wait 100 years to then they will come back with the name Vger ,flying a huge space ship and become like a child ..that was the stry of the first star trek movie what a piece of waste ,the worse star trek movie ever made

That's because you are in another universe.
We still like you though.
If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

Um, at this point in time, I could surely wish!
