no.
well, you could if you knew the exact dimensions of the buildings, their compass facing, which scenery files MICROSOFT or other designer used for the buildings, lights, overall design.
but you would have to TOTALLY rebuild it in its new location.
you can not simply move KLGA (la Guardia) [or any other airport for that matter] to a new X,Y coordinate and it not be where it was before..... unless you move the buildings AND RUNWAYS AND
EVERYTHING
within maybe 5 miles of where it was...... keep in mind that you would have to create NEW FLATTEN FILES and NEW EXCLUDE files.

Airports can be moved but as the prevous poster points out this is not necessarily a trivial exercise. Everything has to be moved. It is not unknown for some rotation also to be required. Issues of altitude need to be sorted out as well as flattens and so on. Also if the airport has approach code then that will need to be changed. This can be very difficult since FS does not like navaids and waypoints moved; so it may be necessary to add new waypoints etc.
To summarize - the simpler the airport, the easier this is to do. There are ways to automate some of the move - email me if you want to have a go - jon AT scruffyduck.co.uk

Thanks for the response, its as I thought that it is more trouble than its worth, it is probably easier to design a complete new airfield.
There are a couple small airports that would have been ideal for the area I was thinking of, however, as I have met one of the designers it is probably a better deal to chat with him for my requirements, thanks again..Chris
