Goodly morning all... Smiley

Well the old girl is off to get her hair done so I got my "honey do list" all caught up and have some time to annoy you folks... Grin

Simviation is not what it used to be...Oh Poop...I say.

True I have not been here as long as many and some of my post are way off beat and I tend to chew the rag a lot about things that happened in aviation long before many of you were born.

Doesn't make me any wiser, just gives me more information to chew the rag about... Grin

During my short term hear I have learned to take screen shots, edit post and stay away from buttons on my keyboard that I don't know what they do... Roll Eyes

I did manage to delete my account here unintentionally once or twice by mistake after hitting such buttons but the moderators and great members found me and fixed that.

Golly gee I didn't even have to spend time in the Simviation dungeon or get marmalade on me... Shocked    Roll Eyes

Well you all know my opinion by now of Glass Cockpits, Suck and Blow Aircraft (jets) and Spam Cans (commercial passenger jets) and most of you know what I think of these "Electronic Gizmos" most of you call computers.... Lips Sealed

Mine almost ended up in the river twice... Grin

Well several months ago I deleted FS2004 and FSX off this electronic gizmo and only to reinstall FSX.

I wanted only to use FSX although this computer is powerful enough to have kept both.

In doing so I lost several utilities.

Yesterday I posted on the Simviation Forum>Addons Most Wanted>Other Add-ons Wanted>Formation Tool and hey don't laugh I managed to post it in the right forum this time... Grin

Well today I got my answer.

Thanks to "dave3cu" a fellow member I now have the utility that was deleted.

That is what Simviation is all about folks, people helping people who have an interest in Simulator Flying and Aviation, I don't think it has changed one bit.   Wink

The proof is in the pudding...everytime this darn electronic gizmo does something wrong and buggers me up someone here throws me a parachute... Roll Eyes... Grin

Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug

"Simviation is not what it used to be."

Things change over time in everything, here, there, and everywhere.

But your contributions to Simviation are really cool, nicely written, and enjoyable to us all.

Happy Holidays.

Doug, I don't think you have any idea how much you have meant to SimV. Your posts have imparted knowledge, wisdom, and humor that has become a big part of our daily enjoyment. If we had an official Ambassador of Good Will contest, you would win hands down. Smiley

And you ought to consider writing a book.  Your stories, and writing style are very enjoyable to read.
