Does anyone have the Aeronca Champ from CR1 ?  I am wondering how the overall quality is?  Is it worth being payware?  I know there is a Champ and a Cheif freeware out there, and I'd hate to pay for something that isn't as good or just slightly better than the freeware.  My benchmark is the A2A Cub, and a handful of Carenado planes, all of which are superb quality.

With the benchmarks you mentioned, I'd say forget it.  It's what I would call a scaled-back payware.  The flyability is good but frills are fairly low key.  If you're into counting rivets or rib-stitching, this is not for you.  I have it - like it but want to repaint it  Smiley.
