Thanks for the heads up, downloading now. Smiley
I don't see how anyone could resist a native FSX F-14 for $5.

I had it for FS9 and loved it.  And who can turn down a $50 plane for $5?!?  (besides someone who doesn't have $5)

Downloading now.  Cool

Today's $5 deal is the Christen Eagle.
But I'm waiting on the P-40 Warhawk. I know it's only $10 right now, but I'm hoping it will be one of the $5 deals between now and Christmas. Kinda got my eye on the Tigershark too; and the Vulcan and the Twin Star....  Cheesy

Sorry Rob, did not see this until after I posted the shots. I am having a little difficulty with the load out and the manual could use a little more information on some parts. But it flies extremely well. The VC and HUD are nice and work well. I was unable to even start the F-14 at first, but the Tigershark opens running with lights on since that is what my saved flight is. I wish they had done the same with the F-14, but many people like realism. But I would have preferred it open like my saved flight. If I want a cold and dark start I can save one. I have not tried to start the F-20 from cold and dark yet, so I don't know how complicated that might be. But I am pleased with it.

Just in case you have not figured it out yet: when you get to the page that says your order has been processed, on the left side below the surfboard, it says "Download your product here". Just below that is the link to your download. You can also download it at any time by going to "My Account".

Like Larry said.  When you've confirmed your purchase, you'll get a page with a surfboarder on the left.  Under him is a line that says download here - in red - click on that.  After 80+MB, you'll have an .exe and that's it.

Did you use Paypal? If so, there is a delay. I just got through reading some stuff on their forum and that is one of the things I discovered. If you did not use Paypal, then there must be a problem of some sort. Have you tried to contact them?

Umm, anybody here have problems with purchasing more than one item?
I bought the A-10 this morning, and came back five minutes ago to buy another and it will not let me get them at checkout.

I just got an email, stores closed due to high demand.  They are getting all current orders out now and will reopen tomorrow, extending the sale. Wink

Wonder if David is rethinking his brainstorm to have such a sale about now? Roll Eyes

Sounds like he is a busy as a long tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs.  Grin

But he'll be able to sit down, relax and count his fortune after Christmas.

I got an email saying the store was back open. Actually, I got one for every purchase I had made.  Grin

David also explained that if you had placed an order and it showed as a prepayment in your account but had not been processed due to the monthly cap, you would need to go into your account and run it through again if

you had an order number between 1413 and 2201. If you are in this catagory, you should have received an email explaining it. But the store is back up as I just placed an order for the Viper and my order for the Vulcan

was still in the cart. Downloading both now.

I like that - ranks right up there with a one-armed paper hanger.

Has anyone had a link to an unknown type file with the order status saying "processing" after making a credit card payment?

Don't ask an aviator if he flys fighters.  If he does he'll tell you, if he doesn't why embarass him.

Undecided  Store back down again?  I've been trying to order since yesterday and keep getting the same message.  Anyone else order anything within the last 24hrs?

From the Iris forum - the store exceeded the monthly number of transactions allowed but have been able to get the quota raised.  They are apparently having to process the transactions paid but not delivered and will then reopen the store.  I have one in limbo since 12/14.

Being a big fan of the Tomcat, I wonder if someone could tell me how the Iris cat is compared to Dino's freeware cat?

My specs... A hard drive, motherboard, graphics card, some memory, a keyboard, mouse, and monitor - in other words, nothing special.

I don't have much time in either, but I would say very close, with the Iris being slightly more complicated/realistic to operate.
