I am kinda new to FSX, and was wondering if it is possible to copy VC files from say for instance the 738 and add it to other freeware a/c that are only equipped with 2d panels. Any help would be appreciated!!

Yup, had this same question. I asked about this on the FlightSim forum, they've pretty much answered, but I'm still kinda fuzzy! Grin
