.......and no place to go
Picked up this bird along with a SBD Dauntless, both from Vertigo Studios, today. Pretty sweet deal. There are four models available for 14 U.S. dollars. F6F Hellcat, F8F Bearcat, P36 Hawk and the SBD Dauntless

"Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth and danced the skies on laughter silvered wings. Sunward I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth of sun split clouds.....and done a hundred things you have never dreamed of.....wheeled and soared and swung high in the sunlit silence. Hovering there, I've chased the shouting wind along and flung my eager craft through footless halls of air.
Up, up the long, delerious, burning blue I've topped the wind swept heights with easy grace where never Lark, nor even Eagle flew. While with silent lifting of mind I've trod the high untrespassed sanctity of space, put out my hand and touched the face of god"

Reading the thread on the Dauntless cost me $28.
Guess I'm lucky that it did not cost me $56.
Nice shots Chuck:) The model looks very realistic.... and rustic.
Is that thing flyable?
If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

Great shots! I saw this the other day and have been wanting it ever since. Trying to resist the temptation while waiting on FTX Rockies to be released. These pics are not helping me very much.

FYI - NRM is $40 and some change so run your numbers. FTX is now a lienholder on my house

And since they have not released it yet, there is no telling when they will. They might be having a minor problem. My credit card hopes it will be a little while longer.
And the withdrawal symptoms caused by waiting for NRM were eased quite a bit with the Bearcat and P-36.
