Having posted an editing tip on using masks, I thought you might like to see this picture. It is made with the same method. The Hurricane was made into a mask and I painted white everywhere I wanted it to show through the tree and grass, the Pilot and bike were added in the same way. Took many many hours and was worked on over a few months. But I think it shows just how useful this method.

The idea for this is based on the thought that during the war, young lads who lived near Airfields would have cycled up and tried to get a view through the Hedge. So I placed his bike by the tree and tried to create a view through the grass and trees.

I've added the pieces it was made up from as well. As always it looks better at it's full size and reducing for posting has lost a little of the detail.

Shocked Shocked Cool Cool
Very nice!

"Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth and danced the skies on laughter silvered wings. Sunward I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth of sun split clouds.....and done a hundred things you have never dreamed of.....wheeled and soared and swung high in the sunlit silence. Hovering there, I've chased the shouting wind along and flung my eager craft through footless halls of air.

Up, up the long, delerious, burning blue I've topped the wind swept heights with easy grace where never Lark, nor even Eagle flew. While with silent lifting of mind I've trod the high untrespassed sanctity of space, put out my hand and touched the face of god"

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

that is just pure awesomeness!

My specs... A hard drive, motherboard, graphics card, some memory, a keyboard, mouse, and monitor - in other words, nothing special.
