hey mensen,
http://www.vergelijk.nl/joystick/thrust_master/t_flight_hotas_x/
http://www.vergelijk.nl/joystick/thrust_master/t_flight_stick_x/
op deze site staat ook nog een paar
http://www.logitech.com/nl-nl/gaming/joysticks
zoals ik al zeg, ik heb maar wat opgegoogled, plz laat weten wat jullie advies is en waar ik bijvoorbeeld naar moet kijken. Hij zit in groep 8 van de basisschool.
Met vriendelijke groeten,
Bart

hey people,
my nephew is crazy about Flight Simulator 2002 and he wanted a controller for this game. But I know nothing of himself away. I was hoping a little that you could help me. I've looked around on the internet, but rates vary widely and there is not or that it does (usually only fs x). If he does it for X version, he does it for 2002? He has xp but it's not a very fast computer.
I saw this example:
http://www.vergelijk.nl/joystick/thrust_master/t_flight_hotas_x/
http://www.vergelijk.nl/joystick/thrust_master/t_flight_stick_x/
this site also has a few
http://www.logitech.com/nl-nl/gaming/joysticks
as I say, but what I opgegoogled, plz let us know what your opinion is and where I should look for example. He is in Group 8 of primary school.
Sincerely,
Bart.

If we can have Carlo or one of our other Dutch members relay the following to this person:
Basically, any joystick made within the past few years should work just fine with any Microsoft Flight Simulator, and will not affect program performance.
I highly recommend:
Saitek X-52
(or X-45 if you can find one. It would be cheaper)

isn't the X52 a bad mismatch with anything older than fs2004 as it doesn't interface with the flight sim, only one I know of that it works with ok is fsx which i believe was it's original intention
I know it can be made to work with fs2004 but not heard of fs2002.

Steve
May the Mynd be with you.
So far my number of landings either passenger or pilot equal my number of takeoffs, but that is due to change

Thank you guys so much, that was very helpful, though I don't know yet what I will take, I will come back on this once I found something to ask your opinion.
Another question on this, does it matter how hard it is to program the controller per device or does everything works the same?
Regards,
Bart

I have a Saitek Pro and it was "Plug and Play", but you have the option to assign button functions from the FS user interface..
