Simviation's download pages have been given a new format and a new look that makes navigating to a favorite section nearly impossible. Is there any way to be able to get the old menus back?

I must beg to differ with you sir.
All of the links, that used to require several clicks to get to, are now prominently displayed right on the front page.
In fact, just about every feature of the site is accessible with just one click now, and several new features have been added, which further enhances the sites accessibility.
Which particular sections of the site are you finding it 'impossible to navigate' to?

I'm looking for a descriptive word for the new image upload system - "SUCKS" comes to mind.

I was up through last night protecting and rescuing the site and this is the kind of feedback I get ........

This is not a permanent feature -- it is an emergency feature but if you have negative feelings it would help to explain exactly what they are. It is comments like these that really don't help ...

Too often when things are free... people don't appreciate them like they really should, Pete. They take them for granted.
I think the supposed issue maybe is that "different" = "sucks".
To me the new temporary upload page seems pretty much like the old one... except for the screen graphics.
And the testing we did seems to show that it works OK.
best,

I had a feeling it might be a temporary/emergency fix due to the problems. But I was unaware it renamed the file to a string of numbers. That would be my main complaint if it were permanent.
If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

File renaming will be permanent ..... it's the best way to prevent hacking files being uploaded disguised as JPG's and then executed.
One guy used to have as his sig on this forum 'abuse leads to restriction' - he is right.
However -- the cut and paste URL is the same as before and you can easily get used to the renamed images.
Choice -- hacked site or renamed images?

Pete. Of course you're correct - my comment wasn't too constructive and I apologize.
