The aircraft is the FSX free download of the Fairchild C-123, Air America.
Scenery is FSX default Congo.
Thanks for looking. Cheers, Mike

It's a great shot Mike, almost looks real.
I just can't figure out how it could get in that exact location/position without trees/wings being sheared off, unless dropped from a Sky Crane.
If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

It is a great shot - probably the super secret inflatable 123. They drop the airplane package and a small gas-fired compressor. Takes a couple of weeks to fully inflate.
THIS IS NOT A PANAM CLIPPER

by the looks of it, it crashed many many years ago, and the jungle just grew up around it...

Thanks guys for the feedback.
I have discovered a memo about this mission. I am still not sure what the final goal was for this mission. Only the flight kits for each captain would tell the whole story. We can only imagine what these seven special aircraft were to accomplish. The Congo was in turmoil during this time period. Let me know your thoughts.
Thanks for looking. Cheers, Mike
