Nice seeing this airline at YVR in the first place!

...

Cargo bay is open!

...

My god... is that a body, indeed it is... in fact it is the body of some catholic saint, somebody said it was a mummy... someone said it was a plasticized body, not really sure who to believe, but it is the REAL body either way!
...

with the cargo door shut!
...

Carriers would be so mush easier to land on if they would just stop turning!!!

What the......

Ok, that's going into a random image thread.
That is by far the strangest image I have seen in a VERY long time, and can dig up some pretty weird stuff.

I don't have words to describe how weird that is.....

After a little bit of research this is what I found:

http://www.catholic-sf.org/news_select.php?newsid=24&id=57481

Quote:
An acrylic likeness of the incorrupt body of St. John Bosco containing a relic of the “saint of the youth” arrives in San Francisco just before midnight on Sept. 11 – and about 40 teens from the Salesian Boys and Girls Club will be camping out overnight at the club to help with the all-night veneration at Sts. Peter and Paul Church, followed by a day of Masses there in honor of the Italian saint....

...Since the relic began its journey on April 25, 2009 from Turin, Italy, it has traveled throughout South America. From San Francisco the relic will go to the East Bay, Los Angeles, New Orleans, Florida, Washington, D.C., New York, Chicago and then on to Canada on October 4. In all, the relic will travel to 132 countries on five continents before it returns to Turin.

St. John Bosco lived from 1815 to 1888 in Italy.

there is actually something just like this at a Catholic Church i went to in Philadelphia. It is actually the body of St. John Newman. It was discovered that his body never actually decomposed, and so they have it in a glass case like this one, and have put an acrylic mask over his face. I may have some of the details wrong but still pretty cool to see  Shocked
