ok guys, here's one for you... I download a HeliHud gauge (bg_helihud.gau - http://www.hovercontrol.com/cgi-bin/ifolio/imageFolio.cgi?search=helihud&cat=&bo...; --- the one on the left)

while I do like everything that this gauge shows.. there is only 1 thing that I do not.  Ambiant Temperature. It is in Celcius and I only know and fly with Farenheight (I live in "The States"; we don't really use the metric system here)

in the XML for that gauge, the line that controls the Temperature readout is:

<Value>(A:ambient temperature, celsius) 9 <= if{ 0 (>L:EnvTempColour, enum) } els{ (A:ambient temperature, celsius) 28 >= if{ 2 (>L:EnvTempColour, enum) } els{ 1 (>L:EnvTempColour, enum) } }</Value>

How can I change this to Farenheight and it show properly?    change the
A:ambient temperature, celsius
to
A:ambient temperature, farenheight
???

Prop...I feel your pain....... Wink...!

We, in England, were "Metricated"** ... Angry...a number of years ago, (from our old Imperial system), and I know I/we* will never get used to it for as long as I/we* live... Cry...!

I have to constantly convert measurements from Metric back into Imperial, to make sense of them....

Centigrade, Kilometres, Kilograms, etc, etc, are like a foreign language to me!... Roll Eyes...!

Queen Victoria would not be amused!... Angry....!

Paul... Grin... Grin...!

* ...."Oldies"... Roll Eyes...!
** A similar affect on me, to being "Castrated".... Sad...!

20*C = 68-72*F...that about as far as I know, in the Metric System!... Embarrassed... Grin...!

about as much as i know of the Metric system.. is: 0*c = 32*F ...... and 40*C = ~105*F....     and that is only because the first part of it is from 5 years of High sKeWwwL Edgeumakayshion (education for those of you that actually Lernd something.. lol) .. and the 2nd part is from talking to a few Brits on the server that I fly on and me trying to tell them how hot of a day it was durring the summer.

I dont deal in Celcius.  I like Farenheight.  I will NOT learn Celcius just to fly a plane.

Thats like where I live we have a really bad problem with Illegal Aliens coming into OUR ****ENGLISH**** country, and they can not speak 1 word of it, and our own government is forcing OUR kids to learn THEIR language so that we can understand them.     Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley  WTH??? they came here and we get punished???? Send em home if they dont want to learn OUR culture and language ----- but that is another post and rant in itself.

I always fly in celsius.

<=0 Freezing, turn on the heaters.

> 0 Not freezing, turn off the heaters.

A bad day at golf is better than a good day at work.

By spelling it correctly, it will work!

farenheit

Code:
(A:ambient temperature, farenheit)
