Hi,

I just registered for fast download. I'm using firefox.
I have been able to download the first part of the SRTM Europe mesh but impossible to start the second part with fast download. I already tried to clean the cache, restart my browser and relog. I tried to use IE8 too. But I can only download at 30Kb/s. Sad

I already check this :

go to Start - Run --- type 'tracert www.simviation.com'

You will see any blocks on the route from you to us

But find no blocks on thd route. Cry

Yeah... it's 30KB/s for normal users, but if you become a member there's no cap and you can support the website.

Impossible as in literally, or figuratively by the way?

Hi Rich N,

Sorry but as said in my previous message I just registered.. so I paid to be a member and have access to fast download. This worked to download the first part (250-300 kB/s) but know I'm unable to 'fast'download anything.

HI,

Sorry to hear of this. Are you able to log in successfully?

If so you will see no ads and go straight to download when you click a link.

If all this is OK -- is there anything else you can tell us?

What page are you accessing the terrain mesh?

It may be that you have somehow gone out of the members area to access an old page.

Hi Pete,

I'll try to explain step by step

1° From the main page I select Express Member Login
2° I enter my data in http://simviation.com/1/login
3° I access URL http://simviation.com/1/front-page
4° From there, I already checked if I'm really logged in by clicking on the blue zone 'Member's Area'. I can see the menu in order to change my Personal information,...., and logout.
5° I select sitemap / FSX/ Terrain Mesh / Page 2 / FSX WW SRTM 38M Europe part 2
6° The page changes in the same tab. http://www.simviation.com/cgi-bin/syb2.cgi?section=scenery&file=srt2eur2.zip
It seems to me that didn't happen when I was able to download the first part.
7° I select 'Download this file'
8° Download start at 30 Kb/s.

From 5° I already tried to access the file with the 'Categories Menu' ... but same effect.

Hi,

It seem's it's the link. I just tried to download FSX Alps 38m Terrain Mesh on the same page and the download worked well without pop-up window (260 KB/s).
