Usually you just have to hold down F2.

Check the controls to ensure it is assigned.

It will not work with all aircraft. The aircraft must be on the ground too. Some aircraft may roll back whereas others may just remain stopped.... So try it with a rolling start, or straight to it when landing.

Check to see if is allocated to F2 in the keyboard binding window in setup. Windows has a habit of dumping binding from time to time........well on my setup anyway.

when you check it's assigned, also check that it repeats when you hold the key down otherwise it will only operate the reverse thrust so slightly you won't even notice it.

Check with the default 737 on external view from the side or anywhere that you can view the engine covers, you should see the rear half of the nacelle move backwards.

If it doesn't happen then I'd suspect a general aircraft config that corrupted, you could also set auto braking to RTO (reverse thrust only) but you will have to land to test it and make sure your throttle is at idle position.

May the Mynd be with you.
So far my number of landings either passenger or pilot equal my number of takeoffs, but that is due to change Smiley

I beg to differ, I know a couple that will work in the air, the FSD PC-6 and the Quest Zodiak. And there may be others. I use it as I would spoilers. You just have to watch your speed very closely to avoid a stall. Eugene Heryart's Super Otter NG with spoilers sorta 'spoiled' me. Roll Eyes

if you come in too heavy and too fast reverse thrust may not be enough to halt properly. and as someone says check that your flying model got the reverse thrust working.

That's a first for me.

In the past when I've tried it will go as far back as idle. Probably the choice of aircraft. But if it will work, it will definately work on the ground.

Also the Default Cessna Caravan reverse thrust works in the air.

So does the King Air, and I THINK the Baron.

There are a few airliners and cargo planes that can perform thrust reverse in-flight. ATR-72, HS Trident, Concorde, C-17 to name a few.

Apparently, with thrust reversing and spoilers deployed, the C-17 can descend at up to 15,000 fpm! Shocked
