The model is finally flying in FSX..tho a lot of work needs doing on reducing polys ..esp on the rotorhead and then the interior ...I have started on the first paint schemes ...

and my personal chariot...

I don't know if I should tell you this learjunkie , focus on the parts ,fix all the chopper ,make its animations ,blades , rotor , doors ,make it all work fine ,and Then you start to think to map it To THEN start to paint it..

One step of a time ,if you think in all at the same time it will become a soup and nothing will work..

and you haven't even ask about the VC

its just my opinion and modest advise ,its your airplane its your work if you want it to paint it now is all up to you

Thanks Alrot...yes I agree with your advice..it is becoming a big bowl of soup with so much to do..I am losing my enthusiasim at the moment so thought to work on the fun bit..some ideas for paint schemes...these are just ideas as I have not mapped the model yet and will work today on finishing the parts...then the model..then the animations...and then mapping.. soooo much to do lol Wink

Yes JoBee...Hughes-MDflyer you are correct, thanks for posting..I am only thinking FSX at the moment..I meant suggestions for paint schemes...

Just a quick render in a dark colour...these images is just hdr rendered and not a paint map..so it will still get dirt and rivet and final detail maps once the model is finished..

Lol...no problem guys..playing with the paint brush is the fun part! It is just renders at the moment anyway so good to get ideas for the final model...
done a few more..the one for SeanTk did not render that well..paint errors but it gave me some ideas to work on an aerial spray version based on that paint...
..and still working on the SD sheriffs livery...

my dad used to own and fly it and i spent many happy hours flying around with him. its an awesome helicopter. in fact in one of the pictures my dad is sat in the helicopter

personally i like your MD600 Magnum PI - TC's chopper looks better than the original MD500 one.

Thanks Chuck and Propwash for comments...I just got back from Holiday and will now focus on finishing this model for release by end Feb...currently working on cabin and vc...also did a complete rebuild so its getting there albeit slow..:0)

oh man

he send me that time the models it was over polygons It was almost impossible to export to mdl if my memory its remembering well

I feel so sad ,I wish I would help him more ;I find part of the file
