Hi All, I'm not into AI design but I do Mission design in FSX, so I thought I might solicit some help here on a unique problem. With Jim Keir's SimVar Extension, one can control any Aircraft AI pretty much any way you wish, but not so with Ground AI. This is because the SimVar commands refer to the AI by the assigned atc_id in the aircraft.cfg file. Since the ground AI do not have this parameter, you can't control.
I've tried simply add an atc_id line to my groundAI .cfg file, but no luck! Is there some other simple solution I might use to trick FSX into recognizing a ground vehicle as an aircraft and just leave it on the ground?
Any help, guidance, reference or simply Can't do it, are much appreciated.
Jake
