I need to get a new AV program and was thinikg about Kapersky as  a few friends recomended it and it gets relatively good reviews.

My concern is, how is it as it relates to FS?
Can it easily be disabled when running FS as I do with my present AV program"?
Any input is apreciated.  Smiley

It's been too long since I've used Kaspersky to recall the exact disabling procedures, but I do not recall having any major issues with it in concert with FS.

I currently use the free version of Avast Anti-Virus:
http://www.avast.com/security-software-home-office

I do not need to disable it for FS usage either. It is not resource heavy.

I'm currently using Kaspersky 2010 and have had no problems with it so far. I don't disable it to run FS. Wink

I used Kaspersky for a number of years (about 4) and never once had an issue. I'd recommend it to anyone, good AV software Wink

OK, Thanks.  Smiley

I will get  Kaspersky when my current AV expires.
I have other computers beside my FS sys that I need to protect.
