I do love the looks of the F-18, the B-17 is one amazing aircraft, and the 777 for power and looks.

I think I might need a second opinion ... I've got quite a soft spot for the Hawker Hurricane as well.
Some people seem to forget the Hurricane and just focus on the Spitfire but there were more Hurricanes than Spits in the Battle of Britain and they shot down more planes. Plus it's just a beautiful plane. Gotta love it!

It' toss up between the P-51D and F/A-18E.
Althought I prefer modern fighters, the P-51D is the best looking plane ever made.

Except my preferred aircraft... (see post earlier in thread)
Stronger, faster, larger, longer, louder (starting to sound like a Daft Punk song here...), twin engines, and it's French!

It's not the biggest, fastest, most powerful, most beautiful, or the most comfortable, but for some reason, my favorite is the Dash-8.

My favorite would be the Howard 500.
Big, powerful, fast, beautiful, classic, long endurance, and my grandfather once ordained a wedding in one while in flight.

Not a bad choice.
We've had a nice one floating around the UK for a few weeks now post overhaul.

DHC-2, one of the best examples of a successfully mission-designed and built aircraft in the history of aviation.

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

Really?
I was under the impression that there was only 1 flying Howard 500 left (the one that Milton Shupe did).

Yep.
This one makes it two. I don't think it's flown for a few years until now.

For my FS2004 it's my Electra L188. It's a beauty to fly, sounds great too (still working on it's paint though).
All time favorite aircraft is the F-15. Easy to work on, most powerful fighter jet ever.
