There will be things soon (such as the helps sections, etc ) added but the main structure of the site is ready .....

Looks good Pete,
except for the Google ad covering up our banner.
Is it my imagination, or do the thumbnails for the downloads look better?
If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

Looks great!
I also noticed that the helicopter on the right side of the banner is from one of my screenshots that I posted.
That was a surprise!

The graphics guy asked me for some images to work with so I went though the screenshot forums backup images -- picked out a few that stood out in the 100 I looked at .... no idea who they wwere by as they were just a series of images in the 'yabbuploads' folder ... thanks for the great image!

I got to test-drive the site, and I will say it is very nice. I also liked the latest forum posts section. And I thought the same thing about the ad, but I don't think there's much you can do about it.

The graphics took 2 days to complete -- the engine/system has been 1000 hours and being developed since April. ....
We are now working on the server OS to maximise the database as things are running slow ---- you can't have any major work launched without some bugs being thrown up .....

Alrot,
It just means that the site has enough of the features online and debugged as to be finally considered "open for business". It means that it is the "Official Opening".
Today you can visit it, but think of it as beyond a Beta version (we've been testing in the background) but not yet at release level.
Does that help?
best,

Pete, will the forums be getting "the treatment" too, or are you maintaining the present style/format?
