I don't even know what to say about that picture. It just looks like an awful way to sit. I'm 6 Feet 1 Inch and I wouldn't even fit in anything other than the first row of that.

You know what? I would rather pay more for a comfortable seat. After flying back from the islands 3 years ago and a ten hour delay at departure, (sitting in those crappy benches and not being allowed to go out for some fresh air) I ended up losing two days work after arrival because my back was aching so bad. Even the flight crew has it better than passengers.
Rant, yes! But isn't this how we all feel? (As passengers)

Flying with twins is a lot of fun..

It's the only way to fly, right!
I bet even a rich jockey or cowboy wouldn't put these seats in their private jets.

Well it's not like the pilot's seats are going to have 22 inches of leg space... those will still be relatively comfortable.

I hope these don't become the norm. Air travel on airliners is already terrible as is.

Now
is the
time
to form a good, old-fashioned airline...
- Seats so roomy, and expensive that airplanes are never full.
-Pilots and crew paid so well that only the seasoned, ex-military need appy.
-Stewardesses so good-looking, that they only took the job hoping to meet a wealthy business man (or pilot).
-Smoking
IS
allowed.
-Drinks are cheap and plentiful.
-Passengers dressed as though they were going to a wedding..
I miss those days *sigh*

Eh...I prefer the original full stand up design...those just look like a nightmare, would constantly have strain on your legs trying to hold yourself up... That women in the picture just looks really happy
For short flights under and hour it wouldn't be to bad though if you didn't have to squat like that, but the fare would have to be almost free before I would ever consider booking one.
There must be a design team with one goal in mind...How can we make air travel even worse?
Quote:
"For flights anywhere from one to possibly even up to three hours ... this would be comfortable seating," he says. "The seat ... is like a saddle. Cowboys ride eight hours on their horses during the day and still feel comfortable in the saddle."
That part cracks me up though. Whoever wrote this has never spent long periods of time on horseback, if you still feel comfortable in a saddle after even 4 hours you must have buns and jewels of steel
Even then...my saddle still sounds more comfortable then those seats look

You forgot the red carpet rolled out to the door. It's still like that for the rich people with private aircraft.
