some snaps from the last coupla weeks...
Quite a treat the other day when
Aluminum Overcast flew right over the pattern on her way to Trenton.
Washed both gliders the other day... 94H's new skin has already gotten stained quite a bit, but the nose art is holding up very well. Very nice Aerostar on final for 25.
Also holding up very well, even without a cover (such as the glider has)... James A. returns from another long day at "the office", towing banners in one of "my" Bird Dogs.
Aloft in the 1-26 at about 4,000 AGL... very important to keep eyes peeled for passing traffic, even when corkscrewing in thermals. Can you spot it? Hint: it's not where you'd expect it, LOL!
There seemed to be quite a few that day, and quite low. I started turning away, at one point, from a bright spot in the distance that seemed to just be getting bigger, only to find it was a reflection from a pond or buildng many miles away...
Sounds like a weed-whacker, flies like a bird: this ultralight flies just about every day. Looks like a lot of fun.
