Tu-154 emergency landing (Read 200 times)

Landed on abandoned airfield full of trees, 1200m runway after generator failure. No fatalities / injuries, but 2 passengers decided to continue by train instead of taking the next plane to their destination

It sure is built like a tank! The gear (being rough field capable) certainly did its job here. Wink

As far as damage goes, it looks like it may not be a write-off. The port wing looks to be beaten up the most, so it's hard to guess at a likely future status for this bird.

On Airliners they say that they wont try to fly it out
