Thanks for looking.
If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

Fabulous shots and work Larry...well done...
From the fuel smudge on the port wing to the touchdown.
Everything just came together so nicely as in your first post "Above the weather"...

Thanks Doug.
But I can't take credit for the fuel smudge, A2A did that. Since I got the update that fixed the prop behind the cloud issue, I can't seem to get enough of this bird.

Who doesn't dream of flying a P51? Up in Alaska, a bunch of us with damp ink licenses were fortunate to have a real life Mustang pilot as our mentor. He flew a supercub - extremely well and taught us some good stuff. Picture an echelon formation of cub, champ, T-craft and 140 doing a 360 overhead, alternating touchdowns on either side of the centerline and all rolling out together.
THIS IS NOT A PANAM CLIPPER

Now that would be worth watching.

Good morning all...
Gosh darn that sounds familiar Dave...
DeHavilland Chipmunk turns into a Spitfire or P51
Tiger Moth turns into an SE5A
Cessna 337 turns into.....well you got the picture now...
After flying the Harvard I had a chance to get checked out in the P51 but never did...time was not on my side as the summer was rolling in and I got a job with a Bush Flying outfit as a dock boy...that lasted two weeks when they gave me the Norseman to beat the bush up with it....
Just a thought but the pilot that flew the Norseman, it was his second summer and he would not wash the Norseman as it was below him as a pilot. I washed it, he got the boot and I think he went back to the big city where he was a school teacher full time....
Sorry Larry...off topic again...

No apology necessary Doug. As always, I enjoy your stories.
