Good afternoon all...

Without knowing it many of you have made my day...Pete you should be a proud father of all these folks...

I did not mention it before but I was at the hospital at 05:30 this morning and on the table at 07:00...home at 11:45.
The pain...unbelievable at times until I got the prescription delivered.
The Operating Room staff were awesome.

I had the left side done for kidney stones, did not know I had them as there was no problem. I was diagnosed about three weeks ago.
They zapped them with a laser.

They will do the right side in September, now I know why they only do one side at a time...pain...pain...pain.

Normally I can take a lot of pain and I am not a pill taker...not even Aspirn or Tylenol....but I was sure glad they sent me three different types of pills.

For several hours I could not sit or stand, rock or laydown for more than a few moments at a time and then I would become nauseous...normal they say.

I did not know what to do with myself and then the old girl took me by the hand and sat me in front of this electronic gizmo, I was logged in and she said this will take your mind off things.

Well I checked out some of the picture sites but could not post any coments because I just did not feel well enough to do that.
My apologies because if someone takes the time to post a coment or pictures they deserve the decency of a reply.

I shall make that up to you all later when I feel much better...honest... Wink

I guess Simviation, the efforts and dedication from all of you has been taken for granted much too many times by myself, it was a place to enjoy pictures, have fond memories renewed, stengthened and to learn...learn...learn freely without having to commit to give something back.

When this medical thing is all over with I shall try to pull my own weight here a little better. Wink

Simviation which is all you folks has helped me pass the time, helped make the pain a little more bearable and kept me out of the corner of the barn today... Grin

Perhaps the old girl is smarter than she looks...oops...did I type that? Roll Eyes

Gee Doug, had no idea. Glad you're back home though and hope you get to feeling better real soon. Will miss your posts when you don't feel up to it, but know you are there in spirit.

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

Sounds very unpleasant, but getting rid of them the old-fashioned way is, I hear, about a million times worse. Shocked

Don't even want to think about that. Grin

Feel better soon. I know what it's like to be sick in bed and not wanting to and not being able to do anything. I was stuck in bed for 1/2 a month earlier this year. It goes wihtout saying, it's not fun.

Goodly morning all...

As you can see it is rather early here but I could not sleep, the pain, I got up and took two separate pills, the bottles say two four times a day or as needed. I just took two one of each.
Now the third bottle say's do not take with antibiotics or milk products, will leave that one alone for awhile until I talk farther with the doc or pharmacist.

I did not want to wake the old girl, she is tired out from babying me... Grin

so I got on this electronic gizmo for awhile...

Yes, it does ,(if you mean stones on the kidneys) THAT REALLY HURTS! you can't even point the exact place where it hurt,but you can point where it doesn't ,you feel like go to the bathroom,you pups yourself (yes,I been thru that ,and doctor dissolve then using Bicarbonate of sodium thru my veins ) ,I heard is the sames as women birth pain /in labor ..but there are specific pain relievers for that area ..
