I was wondering who'd nominate which and why. I've been doing a fair bit of traveling the last few days and have reached a new conclusion.
For many years there were a number of Hungarian towns including Budapest up for the crown, then I saw Bucharest and thought there was nothing worse.... then on Saturday I got lost in Brussels... the only town that I could have a bowel movement on the pavement to make it cleaner. A town with so much money rolling around in it they can't afford road signs, and a place with more potholes than tarmac.
Oh and the natives are downright rude if you have the temerity to ask for directions!
So nominations please...

Never been to New Orleans I take it, except instead of just being rude, they will likely shoot you and take your car, bicycle, shoes, etc. instead of giving you directions.

Detriot.

New Orleans is still a party town.  I wouldn't want to live there but it's a hoot to visit.

Detroit has the Red Wings though, can't beat that.  Wink

New Orleans has terrific food and lots of adult entertainment, but I drove through the 9th ward in the middle of the night and I swear I felt safer in Fallujah...

Which brings us to my worst city.  Fallujah.  It's hotter than hell, hardly any electricity, hardly any plumbing, no cold water, everything is brown, and everyone kept shooting at me... Angry  I hate that place!!!

You are not the first soldier I know who has had the same feelings about New Orleans.  I have been told they felt safer in Iraq, because at least then they were in an armored vehicle, had a weapon, and could call in air support if they needed it.   Wink

Lagos, Nigeria. It's huge, overcrowded, dirty (not to say filthy), outright dangerous when you are white and in the wrong area, driving around is suicide, public transport is cheap but make sure you are well insured and it's too hot. On the other hand it's a city filled with a lot of fun, laughs and enough friendly people who are willing to help you get around.

I'm gonna have to agree with you on both parts there! Wink
I was flipping through SGT. Grit (my Dad's old subscription I still get) and I saw this ... and when I read your reply I remembered the shirt!  Cheesy Cheesy

EDIT: That's not too big is it? I'm not familiar with image sizes on here Tongue
