Recently an excellent model was posted regarding a futuristic Boeing 797.  I noted that the panel provided is for a four engine aircraft whereas the 797 has three engines.  I have taken the liberty to make a few small changes and I apologize to everyone, especially to WWW.LIONHEARTCREATIONS.COM.  I do not wish to detract from the model as I admire the author for giving us the model.  However, that said, I have created a new panel, made from various other panels and an overhead panel specifically designed for this wonderful aircraft.  I have also added a little power as I felt it was seriously underpowered.  If anyone would like to have the guts, you are welcome to what I have done.:

The above are the remaining images for use with the model.  I realize there are a number of gauges that go along with the above.  Most of the gauges should already be your gauge file, if not, let me know and I will fill in the gaps. 

This has become one of my favorites to fly.  Landing is a little tricky and I am still working out the kinks.  So far, I have learned that a long approach works best and landing at about 140 kts, full flaps, as soon as the wheels touch down spoilers out, automatic breaking full on, engines in reverse.  I had to add a throttle gauge with reverse in order to do this.   I have been practicing touch and goes at Milimar in San Diego. 

PLEASE NOTE:  The overhead image has been changed.  it is now Overhead-797.bmp   I did change the overhead section of the panel to reflect this.   Grin

I'm speechless. You have done in a day or a week or even a month what I couldn't do in a hundred years. I have been trying to get a handle on Google SketchUp for over two years. I'm still welded to Square One. I feel so minuscule...
