I had 'Im on a Boat' by The Lonely Island completely stuck in my head all day 

My dad told me they were renting two canal boats the other week and asked if I wanted to go along. I think it's probably the slowest I've ever been on water, but it was fun. I even got some 'stick time' 

It was the Llangollen canal to somewhere or other. It was in Wales and I got a bit lost

I'm afraid not. We only had time to pop in for a steak sandwich in Lllangollen before heading back to Trevor Basin. The 5 mile trip took absolutely ages. It was a challenge to overtake the people who were walking on the paths 

I have a friend from Cambridge who retired and went back to England to live on one of those canal boats. From the pictures he showed me those can be quite posh in the interior. Say hi to Bill for me..
