To be fair, most of those comments are from folks many of us from the site have never even heard of, and from practically everywhere around the internet, including Youtube. The comments are just that, we only put the information out there. In fact, we try to moderate our chat to keep things like alien abductions, hoaxes conspiracies and UFOs from being mentioned, because it detracts from the serious part of actually making space more widely known to the masses. Intelligence and curiosity are both welcome things to spacevidcast. Trolls and spammers however, aren't so warmly welcomed.
But to be fair and respond to your reply, if you don't think we actually landed on the moon, please remember, we did do it 6 times. We went to the moon 9 times. Why would we fake it
nine
times? Why haven't any of the 500,000 or so NASA employees (edit; of that time) come forward to claim it as a hoax, even now as they're in their 70's and 80's? Why didn't Russia even try to call our bluff, even when they hated us? It really is more difficult to fake these missions than it would be to actually do them.
Oh yeah, don't forget that the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter from the US, as well as the Indian chandrayaan-1 got hi-res pics, even so much as spotting the footprints and rover tracks. And then there's that retroreflector left up there after we set it up that we still use to this day for measuring distance to the moon. The Mythbusters even did a full show about trying to replicate the landings, to determine if they were faked or not. Given that the Mythbusters are in fact special effects experts, for them to try to turn it into a hoax and fail says a lot in itself.
I do take this stuff seriously, and have so since I was 6 1/2, "way back" in '86, when Challenger was lost. It was the very spark that got me into aviation and spaceflight. If deemed fit by the powers that be, I'd be more than happy to discuss this sort of thing (aerospace/human spaceflight) on its own dedicated thread.

me too Jeph
I being trying to convince to these people (for years) that we travel to the moon and how because "Its easy, risky but easy" the hardest and expensive part was to brake the earth gravitation ..as usual
we step on there and we got all we need it to know,
It would be way much more difficult to make a TV studio in Nevada make a "show" of all of it, to fake it , would be a jeopardy to a country and to everything ,For What?
people are so silly and they always bring something new ,Turns out now that Stanly Kubrick was the one who made all that, Jezz!
those who can't believe this simple FACT ,then don't believe all the International Space Station is fake too and russian MIR was lie ,..maybe the Hubble telescope is on the ground .. also maybe the earth is flat too

HA! Good old Foz. It's nice to see you're the same as ever, good sir. Next time I join ya for a multiplayer flight, don't be surprised if something happens resembling a prank not unlike something you may have seen on Top Gear.

What? You've been passing by Mars all this time and never stopped in... and those martians would be so fascinated.
Back to my main inquiry:
Do you believe we'll colonize Mars;
if so, when?

We will, but it'll be at least 75 years before we do, I feel.

Well, you're still keeping it within this century -- not so far off from the articles' prediction which, however, was based on data prior to the current economic developments. I still question whether we'll still be mooned on Earth or on Mars before the century ends.
